Present and Future Role of JAFSA

With the rapid advancement of the information age and globalization, one of the most important issues for the human race to consider today is on how to realize a harmonious society where each member is respected no matter how different one may be in cultural or religious background.

In order to train and educate the younger generation of the world to resolve this issue in the future, JAFSA assists educational institutions, exchange organizations, regional volunteer organizations, and people involved in international educational exchange activities by developing international student exchange systems, by providing the most recent information concerning international educational opportunities, by providing professional knowledge and skills in training sessions for international student advisors, by proposing policy in promoting international educational exchange activities.
