東日本大震災 関連情報

2011年3月11日に日本観測史上、最大の地震が東北関東地方で発生し、大津波にも襲われました。
その結果、いくつかの町は壊滅的な状態になり、行方不明者は1-2万人とも言われています。
ここに、犠牲になられた方とご遺族に対し深くお悔やみを申し上げますとともに、被災者の皆様に対して心よりお見舞い申し上げます。
JAFSA会員の中にもこの地震や津波等に遭遇した方がいらっしゃるかもしれません。被害を受けた会員のため、また、今後このような事態に備えるための情報を求める会員のため、アドバイスや支援（危機管理のknow-how、留学生へのカウンセリング、留学生の転校の必要性等）が必要になるかと想定します。ネットワークの機能を最大限活用し、情報交換をしながらこの事態を乗り切れるように皆様のご協力とご支援をお願いできれば幸いに存じます。

Dear JAFSA Members,
On March 11,2001, northern and parts of eastern Japan experienced one of the largest earthquakes in Japanese history. The region also experienced a large tsunami that devastated several cities and towns in the region. It is said that there are more than 10 thousand people missing. I would like to send my condolences to those who lost their lives as well as my warmest sympathy to those who have fallen victim to this calamity.
We are very concerned for the well-being of all as well as JAFSA members in this region. As more information about the disaster comes in, there will most likely be a need to advise and assist victims of the earthquake and tsunami and/or advise and assist those who may want information on crisis management. We are hoping to utilize JAFSA's functions in the best possible way to assist in the efforts in overcoming the present crisis situation and ask for everyone's cooperation and support in this matter.
